A Return to Outdoor Life
Our CHIP-T team facilitated the entire journey for this tribal elder, from initial screening in Geddavalasa village to surgical intervention at LVPEI. We provided comprehensive pre-operative support and post-operative follow-up care to ensure a seamless recovery.
Following the successful cataract surgery, the patient experienced a profound improvement in vision. This medical intervention has restored his independence and ability to perform daily tasks without assistance.
He has now resumed grazing cattle and goats, regaining both his livelihood and his confidence in navigating the tribal terrain.
